Hello! I’m Scott Sharples.
A UK software engineer with a master’s in software engineering from the University of Salford. I started out as a full-stack engineer working in Node.js and TypeScript, and now I build for small businesses and founders directly.
Most of my week goes on websites for independent businesses: pizza counters and burger joints in Leeds, sweet shops, wreath makers, holiday parks and agencies. The brief is always the same. Make it look like nobody else, make it fast on a phone, and make it easy to order, book or get in touch.
I also run AI App Rescue for founders who built something quickly with AI tools and got stuck before launch. I find what’s really blocking it and help decide whether to fix, rebuild, simplify or launch.
